- Stayed at Spicers Tamarind. Venue was stunning. Accommodation was two people to a ‘cottage’ but each person had a massive room, own bathroom, etc so it didn’t feel like ‘sharing’. Their events team was excellent to deal with in the lead up.
- We brought in two ‘experts’ for Saturday. The lead was Dr Mel Taitimu who ran the workshop for us around invisible burdens, and rediscovering ‘play’.
- The second was Frith Graham of GirlsTrek who handled the 12km bushwalk/trek part of the workshop (the workshop was in the bush as we walked, talking & explored).
Both experts were exceptional in their own right. They know each other well and have worked together before, so their collaboration behind the scenes was pivotal. Mel has connections into EO and has done work for EO’ers before. Frith is ex-EO.
